Consul-General Harada's visit to Ahmedabad

On 30th and 31st August, Consul-General Harada visited Ahmedabad and joined India-Japan Business and Tourism Conclave and attended the completion ceremony for the Project for Upgrading the Facilities of Japan Information and Study Centre in Ahmedabad City at Ahmedabad Management Association. In addition, Mr. Harada planted a cherry blossom sapling.

 

At the conclave on 30th and 31st August, Mr. Nitinbhai Patel, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Sujan Chinoy, Former Indian Ambassador to Japan and Prof. Ashok Kumar Chawla, Advisor (Japan), Ministry of External Affairs, government of India participated in the event and greeted the audience.

 

The completion ceremony for the cultural grassroots project “the Project for Upgrading the Facilities of Japan Information and Study Centre (JISC) in Ahmedabad City” was held at JISC on 30th August. Mr. Mukesh Patel, Founder of JISC and President of Indo-Japan Friendship Association, Gujarat along with the Deputy Chief Minister and the Former Ambassador attended the ceremony and appreciated the grant for the project. Mr. Harada expressed his wish that people would make good use of the facilities at JISC.
