Consul-General Harada’s meeting with Hon. Mr. Aaditya Thackeray, Cabinet Minister for Tourism & Environment

On January 22, Consul-General Harada had a meeting with Honorable Minister Mr. Aaditya Thackeray, Cabinet Minister for Tourism and Environment, Government of Maharashtra. They discussed bilateral relations between Japan and Maharashtra State. The Consul-General, while welcoming Minister Thackeray’s appointment to the Cabinet, expressed his desire to further strengthen the bilateral relationship with Maharashtra. Minister Thackeray hoped to work together to promote trade, tourism and infrastructure projects. The Minister also presented a framed photo of Mount Fuji with Sakura to the Consul-General. The photo was taken by the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Honorable Mr. Uddhav Thackeray. After the meeting, Minister Thackeray joined the welcome reception which Consul-General Harada hosted for the delegation from Okayama City Council.
