Japan-India IT and Ventures Dialogue Dinner

On 11th December 2019, Consul-General Harada hosted a dinner at his residence for the leaders of various IT and Venture Companies like Mr. Vineet Patni, Charter Member, Chair - TiECON and Futuretech. About 40 guests including Mr. Abhishek Krishna, Joint CEO – IT, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and Mr. Kiran Deshpande, Outgoing President – TiE Pune from the Indian side and Japanese Association Board Members including Mr. Funatsumaru, President of Japanese Association, the Chief of Mumbai Bureau of Nikkei, and the Director-General of JETRO participated from the Japanese side.
This was the first dialogue event, with various Japanese and Indian IT and venture companies participating. The event was a great opportunity for all the guests for networking and exchanging ideas. Consul-General Harada and Mr. Vineet Patni, in their speeches, stressed that this unique and first dialogue should continue and they would like to hold similar events periodically, not just in Mumbai but also in Pune and other cities. They also emphasized the need for more dialogue to strengthen the opportunities in this field.
