Foreign Minister’s Commendation for FY 2020 (Dr. Deepak Tilak)

On 16th February, Consul-General Harada visited Pune to confer the Foreign Minister’s Commendation on Dr. Deepak Tilak, Chancellor of Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth.
The ceremony was conducted amid a warm atmosphere in the presence of around 50 people from the Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth (TMV). Consul-General Harada praised Dr. Tilak for the propagation of Japanese Language education through TMV that contributed towards mutual friendship and goodwill between Japan and India. He hoped that the Japanese language education at TMV would continue to develop and contribute to the promotion of understanding of Japan. Dr. Tilak, in his acceptance speech, expressed his gratitude for the commendation. He also said that he wanted TMV to continue to propagate Japanese language education henceforth and contribute to the friendship and goodwill between India and Japan.
