Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects (GGP): Signing Ceremony for “The Project for the Provision of Medical Equipment to Padhar Hospital, District Betul” in Madhya Pradesh.

On February 21, Consul-General Dr. Yasukata FUKAHORI signed the grant contract for “The Project for the Provision of Medical Equipment to Padhar Hospital, District Betul” with Dr. Rajiv Choudhrie, Medical Superintendent of Padhar Hospital. The signing ceremony was held at the Padhar Hospital in Madhya Pradesh in the presence of Member of Parliament of Betul - Mr. D.D. Uikey, and 100 others involved in the project.
 
Consul-General FUKAHORI while thanking the doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff for their efforts during the Corona Virus Pandemic, also wished that the provided equipment to be maintained well and utilized effectively for the patients.
 
Dr. Rajiv Choudhrie thanked the Japanese people and the Government of Japan for selecting Padhar Hospital as a partner for the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects (GGP). He also spoke of his trip to Japan where he was helped by Japanese people and was therefore fascinated by the Japanese personality.
 
The medical equipment provided to the Padhar hospital (Electrosurgical Unit with Harmonics and Blood Component Bank Equipment, amounting to US$ 58,781) will improve the surgical ability of the hospital and is aimed at contributing towards improving the health of the people in the area.
