Indo Japan Cultural Festival 2023

The Indo Japan Cultural Festival 2023 was held at the World Trade Center in Mumbai during January 21-22.
It was the first ever free for all event held by the Indo-Japan Association in Mumbai showcasing all Japanese cultural activities organized by local Indian communities, including Ikebana, Bonsai, Origami, Sumi-e painting, Japanese Language Teaching, Judo, Aikido, and Karate. It also showcased other India-Japan joint cultural performances such as Kathak dance, Yoga and Violin concert. A number of booths were also installed which introduced products of Japanese and local firms, including those from ANA, Tottori Prefecture and San-in Region.
Consul-General Dr. FUKAHORI participated in the event as the chief guest, together with Mr. Mangal Lodha, Minister of Tourism of Maharashtra, Ms. Harshita Narwekar, Former Municipal Corporator, Mr. Mehool Bhuva, President of Indo-Japan Association, Mumbai, Mr. Kondo Tatsumi, Vice President of Japanese Association, Mumbai, among others.
