Sanuki Udon noodles introduction event

On 13 January, the Consulate-General of Japan in Mumbai and Sushi & More India co-organised an event to introduce Sanuki Udon noodles at the official residence, with the support of Kikkoman India and Ishimaru Seimen, and in cooperation with ANA. The event was attended by local Japanese / Asian restaurant owners, chefs and food service industry representatives. They enjoyed five different Sanuki udon menus provided by Ishimaru Seimen and Sushi & More India, sushi, tempura and Japanese sweets provided by the chef of the official residence. Mr. Harry Hakuei Kosato, Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador, Founder of Sushi & More India together with Mr. Masakuni Ishimaru, General Manager, Sales Dept. of Ishimaru Seimen, explained the invitees about the history and characteristics of Sanuki udon noodles and requested them to cooperate in the promotion of Japanese cuisine.
