“Japanese Culture in Short Films”: Celebrating 70 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and India

2022/12/21
The Consulate-General of Japan in Mumbai invited Ms. Shoko Takegasa – Festival Director, Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia – from Japan to deliver a talk on Japanese culture in short films. The event was held across 3 days in 3 cities – 12th December at University of Mumbai in Mumbai, 13th December at MIT-World Peace University (MIT-WPU) in Pune, and 15th December at Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) in Ahmedabad.

The event was a great success, with many questions being asked at each venue, ranging from questions about the appeal of short films and the Japanese culture depicted in the short films screened, to more professional questions about raising funds to make a short film.
