Inauguration Ceremony of The Project for the Provision of Neurosurgical Microscope in Nagpur City

On 14th August, Mr. Michio Harada, Consul-General of Japan in Mumbai, along with staff from Swami Vivekanand Medical Mission, inaugurated the Project via online virtual conference. At the ceremony, Mr. Harada wished that the provided equipment would be maintained well and utilized effectively for the patients.
Mr.Ulhas Bujone, Executive director of Swami Vivekanand Medical Mission, expressed his gratitude for the Grant Assistance for the Grassroots Project Scheme (GGP). He also mentioned that this newly procured neurosurgery microscope (equivalent to USD 85,646) will enable the organization to provide speedy and low-cost neurosurgeries to the poor patients.
Through aforementioned project, the citizens of Nagpur District in Maharashtra can look forward to gain access to better medical facilities, thus improving the overall health condition of the people in the area.
