Yokoso Japan in Mumbai

From 28 to 30 November 2025, Consulate-General of Japan in Mumbai and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) co-hosted 3 days Japanese Cultural Festival – Yokoso Japan in Mumbai, supported by Bonsai Study Group and Origami Mitra.
 
The three days cultural festival was held at Ranibaug and was inaugurated by Consul General, Mr. YAGI Koji and BMC Commissioner Mr. Bhushan Gagrani on 28th November. This event was special because it also celebrated 60 years of Yokohama-Mumbai sister-city ties this year. 
 
The event showcased Japanese cultural items by our Consulate, mini Japanese garden landscape by BMC, Bonsai exhibition by Bonsai Study Group of IJA (Indo Japanese Association) Mumbai and Origami exhibition by Origami Mitra. Mumbaikars enthusiastically visited all the exhibits making this eco-friendly cultural collaboration between Japan and India a grand success.
