Orientation on Japanese Language Teaching by Professor Ashok Kumar Chawla and Mr. Tomonari Kuroda

On 9 Nov 2024, our Consulate hosted an Orientation event for Indian Japanese language teachers in Mumbai and Pune on Japanese Language Teaching by Professor Ashok Kumar Chawla and Mr. Tomonari Kuroda.

Professor Ashok Kumar Chawla, Advisor (Japan), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), made a presentation on ‘Japanese Language Teaching, its Role in India Japan Relations Key-elements (Kyoan)’. Mr. Tomonari Kuroda, JPN language advisor, Japan Foundation also made a presentation on ‘Create your KYOAN and Teach in your own way’.
 
This is the second time such an orientation was held at the Consulate after the year 2020. 14 teachers from various institutions in Mumbai and Pune attended this orientation. Participants were grateful to have a fruitful, interesting and interactive session by Prof. Chawla and Mr. Kuroda.
