Conferment of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays to Ms. Sarita Sundaram

On 31 July 2023, Dr. Fukahori Yasukata, Consul-General of Japan in Mumbai, hosted a conferment ceremony for Ms. Sarita Sundaram, President of Teachers Association of Japanese Mumbai. She received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, which was conferred by His Majesty Emperor Naruhito, in recognition of her contribution to promoting Japanese language education in India and mutual understanding between Japan and India.
Consul-General Dr Fukahori expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the continuous and dedicated efforts made by Ms. Sundaram in promoting Japanese language education in India and mutual understanding between Japan and India through educational activities.
Consul-General Dr Fukahori conveyed the Patent of Decoration and the Order to Ms. Sundaram.
