34th West Zone Japanese Language Speech Contest

On 18th February, the Consulate-General of Japan in Mumbai and the Indo-Japanese Association Pune held the 34th West Zone Japanese Language Speech Contest.
Students of Japanese Language from the West Zone of India participated in this speech contest which was held across 2 levels – Junior and Senior. The participants showed the results of their practice and the judges praised them for their efforts.
The judges for this Speech Contest were Chief Consul Mr. KANEKO, Mr. TAKADO – Principal of the Mumbai Japanese School, Mr. YOSHIOKA – President, Japanese Association Pune, and Mr. TAKAHASHI – Vice President, Japanese Association Pune. The judges were very impressed by the participants’ speeches and said that the speeches were very good. The judges also gave the participants valuable advice for future speeches.
The winners of the West Zone Japanese Language Speech Contest will participate in the All India Japanese Language Speech Contest held in Delhi.
