41st R.G. Saraiya Memorial Mumbai District Japanese Language Speech Contest

The Consulate-General of Japan in Mumbai and The Indo-Japanese Association Mumbai jointly held the 41st R.G. Saraiya Memorial Mumbai District Japanese Language Speech Contest on Saturday, 13th November, 2021. 

Many students studying Japanese language participated in the Speech Contest which was held in three categories of elementary, junior and senior level. The participants put in a lot of efforts into their speeches and were praised by the judges for the same.
 
The contest was judged by Mr. Sato, Chief Consul of the consulate, Mr. Takado, Principal of the Japanese School of Mumbai, Mr. Takeda, President of the Japanese Association of Mumbai, and Mr. Kuroda, Japanese Language Advisor of Japan Foundation. The judges remarked that they found it difficult to choose a winner since everyone spoke very well, and they also gave valuable advice to the participants for their future speeches.
 
The winners from the junior and senior level of this Speech Contest will participate in the West Zone Japanese Language Speech Contest in Pune.
