Consul-General Harada’s hosted dinner for famous Bollywood film director Mr. Rajkumar Hirani and his family

On October 3rd, Consul-General Harada invited famous Bollywood film director, Mr. Rajkumar Hirani, and his family to dinner at his residence. They had discussions about cultural exchanges between Japan and India in the movie field, and also Japanese culture.
Mr. Hirani enjoyed Japanese dishes like sushi, sashimi, tempura etc. cooked by Consul-General’s chef and Japanese sake.
During the dinner, Mr. Hirani mentioned that he missed the memories of his first visit to Japan and visiting Akira Kurosawa’s grave, and that he hoped to go to Japan again since he loved Japan a lot.
Mr. Harada hoped that Mr.Hirani would visit Japan with his family in the near future as Tokyo Olympics will be held next year.
