    The Project for Installing Water Purifying Systems to Supply Potable Water in Eight Villages of Four Sub-divisions in Banaskantha

    On 5th February 2019, Mr. Ryoji Noda, Consul-General of Japan in Mumbai, staffs of Lokseva Shikshan Vikas Trust and villagers from neighboring villages, total of approximately 300 people attended the inauguration ceremony. Mr. Razak Vagadiya, Secretary, Lokseva Shikshan Vikas Trust, expressed his gratitude for the assistance from the people and government of Japan. This newly installed Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification system will reduce the incidence of water borne diseases through provision of safe drinking water to villagers of eight villages in four sub-divisions of Banaskantha district. Mr. Noda appreciated Lokseva Shikshan Vikas Trust’s contribution and continuous support to the development of the area. Mr. Noda also expressed the hope that the assistance provided by Japan government would protect many villagers from water borne diseases and strengthen the friendship between India and Japan. Through aforementioned project, RO water purification systems aimed at preventing water borne diseases and thus improving health status of the villagers were procured.
