Consulate-General of Japan sanctioned grants for following projects

The grant contract signing ceremony was held on 24th January, 2018 at the Japan Information & Study Centre in Ahmedabad City with attendance of Mr. Ryoji Noda, Consul General of Japan in Mumbai, Mr. Mukesh Patel, President of Indo-Japan Friendship Association, Gujarat, and NGO “Lokseva Shikshan Vikas Trust”

The Project for Installing Water Purifying Systems to Supply Potable Water in Eight Villages of Four Sub-divisions in Banaskantha

Grant Amount: US$ 85,744
The organization will install water purifying systems in eight villages of four sub-divisions in Banaskantha district of Gujarat where fluoride content in water is very high. The project will make the safe drinking water available to the villagers which will free them from water borne diseases and improve their health status.
