Mr. Yoshiaki Ito, Consul-General of Japan in Mumbai, Mr. Niteen Thade, Additional CEO of District Rural Development Agency, Chairman of Shramjivi Janata Sahayak Mandal, distinguished guests, and the beneficiaries, total about 200 people attended the inauguration. Mr. Thade, Additional CEO of DRDA, extended his gratitude for the assistance from the people and government of Japan. This newly constructed center will assist marginalized communities in overcoming problems of livelihood and help them in integrating with mainstream.

Mr. Ito appreciated Shramjivi Janata Sahayak Mandal’s contribution to the development of the local societies for over the decades. Mr. Ito also expressed the hope that the assistance provided by Japan would improve the socio-economic condition of the people and strengthen the friendship between India and Japan.
