Mr. Ryoji Noda, Consul-General of Japan in Mumbai, Ms. Yashomati Thakur, Member of Legislative Assembly, President and Secretary of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Shikshan and Arogya Prasarak Mandal, distinguished guests, and the beneficiaries, total about 250 people attended the inauguration.

Mr. Noda appreciated Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Shikshan and Arogya Prasarak Mandal’s contribution to the development of the local societies for over the decades. Mr. Noda also expressed the hope that the assistance provided by Japan would improve the educational environment of the underprivileged children and strengthen the friendship between India and Japan.

Ms. Yashomati Thakur, Member of Legislative Assembly, extended her gratitude for the assistance from the people and government of Japan. This newly constructed school will assist underprivileged children overcoming problems of poor education-access.
