Consulate-General of Japan sanctioned grants for following projects

    The grant contract signing ceremony was held on 3rd March, 2016 at the Consulate General of Japan office in Mumbai with attendance of Mr. Yoshiaki Ito, Consul General, and NGOs.




1. Project: The Project for the Construction of Training and Activity Center for Rural Communities in Satara District
Name of NGO: Shramjivi Janata Sahayak Mandal
Grant Amount: US$ 75,868
Grant Contract Signing Date: March 3, 2016
The organization will construct a Training and Activity Center (337㎡) which will provide trainings in improved agriculture technologies and food processing technologies in order for marginalized people’s income generation in the region.





2. Project: The Project for the Construction of School for Under-privileged Children in Amravati District
Name of NGO: Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Shikshan and Arogya Prasarak Mandal
Grant Amount: US$ 100,954
Grant Contract Signing Date: March 3, 2016
The organization will construct a school building (607㎡) in order to improve the educational environment of under-privileged children in the region.
