Inauguration was held on 13th October, 2015 in Betul District, Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Yoshiaki Ito, Consul-General of Japan in Mumbai, Dr. Rajiv Choudhrie, Medical Superintendent, Padhar Hospital, honourable guests, the team of German surgeons, the hospital staffs and the beneficiaries, about 250 people joined the inauguration and extended their gratitude for the support from the people and government of Japan. The project improves the medical access through the provision of the solar-run oxygen generator and renovation of Intensive Care Units. The solar-run oxygen generator was installed in India for the first time.

Mr. Ito appreciated Padhar Hospital for providing excellent affordable medical services to the people in the region for over half a century. Mr. Ito also expressed the hope that the assistance provided by Japan would contribute to the improvement of the regional medical services and fostering the friendship between India and Japan.
