Inauguration was held on 14th October, 2015 in Chhindwara District, Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Yoshiaki Ito, Consul-General of Japan in Mumbai, Ms. Manjiri Chande, President, Pararth Samiti, Youth Group of Atarwada village and the beneficiaries, about 100 people, joined the inauguration and extended their gratitude for the support from the people and government of Japan followed by traditional dance and song performance. The project improves the livelihood of Gond Tribe in the region through the provision of seven buildings such as the training cum processing centre equipped with machines, tools and furniture, kitchen & dining, accommodation facility etc.
Mr. Ito appreciated Pararth Samiti for the activities which support Gond Tribe’s development. Mr. Ito also expressed the hope that the assistance provided by Japan would contribute to the improvement of the livelihood of the regional people and foster the friendship between India and Japan.
