< 6th Japan Festival at Ahmedabad Management Association >

The 6th Japan Festival at Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) will be cojointly organized by The Consulate-General of Japan in Mumbai, Indo-Japan Friendship Association, Gujarat, Ahmedabad Management Association and The Japan Foundation. The inauguration ceremony will take place on 27th January (Friday) at 6 pm at Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA).
The festival will have the exhibition of 'Dolls of Japan' from 27th January to10th February 2017 in collaboration with the Japan Foundation.
Different workshops on Karate training, Origami, Shodo, Furoshiki, Japanese style cooking etc. will be conducted along with the screening of popular Japanese Films like After the flowers, The Place Promised in our early days, Noriben -The Recipe of Fortune etc.
Also Japanese director, writer, Actress and movie director Ms. Shoko ITO will perform "Samurai Grandma" one of her theatrical acts. (http://shokoart.com/presspack-en.html)
