“The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays” was conferred on Mr. Vinaya Mehrotra, President of Indo-Japanese Association, Mumbai for his contribution to the promotion of friendly relations and mutual understanding between Japan and India.

Consul General Mr. Kiyoshi Asako on behalf of the Government of Japan handed over“The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays” to Mr. Vinaya Mehrotra at a ceremony held on Tuesday, 20th May, 2014 at the Consulate General of Japan in Mumbai.
