< Received Senbazuru (one thousand paper cranes) for world peace >


On 27th August 2010 Mr. Pramod Gorhe (Vice President, Maharashtra Education Society and Chairman School Committe, Bhave Primary School), Mrs. Ujjwala Gaikwad (Principal, Bhave Primary School) and their 8 students visited Consulate General of Japan, Mumbai office with Senbazuru message.

On 6th August 2010, Senbazuru were hold on "Hiroshima Day" event for world peace at Bhave Primary School. They would like to devote these to "Atomic Bomb Children's Peace Monument" in Hiroshima peace memorial park.

The event was reported that has been conducted a grand score with the participation of Mr. Divekar (Chairman of Pune Indo-Japanese Association, Pune), Mr. Joshi (Vice President of MOSAI, western region), Ms. Soga and Mr. Kobayashi, Japanese Language Teacher from Japan Foundation and many other Japan related persons participated in this event.

We have sent Senbazuru to Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation.

On 28th September 2010, message has been received from the Personel in Hiroshima Peace Culture Centre(Trust), the Senbazuru has reach safely those have been dedicated to Statue of "Atomic Bomb Children Monument" which has been constructed for praying peace and comfort of Ms. Sadako Sasaki who was killed by illness caused by atomic bomb when she was in secondary school."
