< Conferment of Decoration for Ikebana Teacher In Mumbai >

“The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays” was conferred on Mrs. Leela Raj Kumar, Founder and Director of the Bombay Sogetsu School Branch and the Founder President of Ikebana International Bombay Chapter for her contribution to the introduction and promotion of Japanese culture in India and other countries.

Consul General Mr. Tamon Mochida on behalf of the Government of Japan handed over “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays” to Mrs. Leela Raj Kumar at a ceremony held on Tuesday, 1st June, 2010 at the Consulate General of Japan in Mumbai.
